Medium, compact growing floribunda. The colour is apricot and varies from light apricot on the petal edges to warm apricot in the centre. Huisgenoot Roos is a healthy and vigorous grower. It is free-flowering and will give you a colourful display in your garden almost all year round.
ICEBERG
Floribunda (bush/standard 90cm/standard 60 cm / climber / weeping standard)
Small, pointed buds are borne in clusters; pure white; vigorous and extremely prolific; bushy growth. One of the most important bedding roses because of its abundant flowering, growth habit and the significant neutral white. By pruning lightly it may also be grown as a shrub of about 2m height.

The bud starts off with a deep orange-red colour, lightening into a strawberry-red in the shapely half-open stage and finally pales to the colour of a watermelon after which the petals drop off cleanly without bleaching and looking unsightly. The bush grows easily and quickly into a well-rounded specimen, clothed with dark green, touch foliage. Basal shoots as well as side shoots appear nonstop, each carrying a cluster of shapely blooms.

A strong grower, bears flowers constantly. Flowers are borne in clusters of 3-5 on sturdy stems. In bud stage the colour is creamy-bronze with a bronze-yellow centre. When the rose opens, the colour changes to creamy-pink.

Produces semi-double flowers. Apricot & peach blend into orange and fades to pink as the bloom matures. This ground cover spreads it’s branches outward and grow knee-high. Deloitte & Touche grows well in pots.

The most exciting red groundcover rose to date. Prostrate basal stems fan out from the centre starting to carry their luminous, fiery red blooms at an early stage. These semi-double, fairly large blooms age without discolouring and drop of cleanly. New growth is extended sideways until the plant covers one square meter with robust healthy leaves and flowers.

This rose truly heralds the new generation of groundcover roses. The golden stamens add to the attraction. Old blooms drop of their petals without having faded.

This superlative rose was selected from the cut rose trials. Clear pink with extremely long stems and large pointed blooms. To view a bed with hundreds of 1m long stems each carrying one perfectly shaped bud or bloom is breathtaking, but it is the normal behavior of this rose. It is indeed amazing to watch the long pointed buds develop, revealing a perfect beauty with firm petals reflecting and maintaining the sharply pointed centre. The glossy foliage is mildew resistant.
